College tuition costs are higher then they have every been. For High School Seniors, it's time to start thinking of ways to help manage that high cost.

Applications are now being accepted from minority students for the 2015 Martin Luther King Jr. Book scholarship. The scholarship will award multiple students with $500 to help with the cost of their college books.

A new report says in-state tuition at Ohio's public universities increased an average of three percent over the past five years.

That's the lowest increase in the country according to the College Board's Annual Pricing and Student-Aid Reports. But students at Ohio's public two-year schools are paying about nine percent more than they paid five years ago.

Ohio University-Zanesville is helping about 200 incoming Freshman pay for college.

The program is called Access for Success. It helps lower the cost of higher education for new, full-time students who haven't ever been to college before.

"It's in effect a scholarship of about $1,550 a year. So, what it does is it reduces our tuition to just a little over $3,000. So, it's a very affordable, accessible program, " says OU-Z Dean Jim Fonseca.
