Miami, FL --- It was a back-and-forth duel Friday, but the Clemson Tigers landed the final punch to defeat Ohio State, 40-35 in the Orange Bowl. Both sides lived up to the hype, especially on the offensive side. OSU's Braxton Miller did his part, despite being battered around most of the evening. Miller threw for 234 yards and 2 touchdowns, along with two interceptions. Senior Carlos Hyde rushed for 113 yards on 25 carries and a score, but it wasn't enough to fend off the high-powered...

Through two seasons, Urban Meyer is 24-1 as the head coach of Ohio State. The numbers stand for themselves, but for a competitor like Meyer, that one loss still stings, not only for him, but his team. The Buckeyes have shown grit and resolve all season long, and the Orange Bowl gives them one more chance to finish strong.

It was media day for the Buckeyes this afternoon down in Miami...Urban Meyer posed with Cemson Head Coach Dabo Swinney in front of the orange bowl trophy and...

It's safe to say, Ohio State still has a bitter taste in their mouth from the Big Ten Championship game three weeks ago. Coming in as the second ranked team in the BCS, a win over Michigan State would have sealed a trip to the National Title Game against Florida State. Instead, OSU will play the ACC's second best team in Clemson, and since have re-focused their goals.

The team arrived in Miami early Sunday to begin preparations for the Tigers (10-2), who are used to the warmer...

One thing Ohio State has done consistently well this season is run the football. Carlos Hyde and Braxton Miller lead an offense that's been unstoppable at times. But if there's a team that can stop them, it would be Michigan State. The Spartans are equally tough at stopping the run, leading the nation in rushing defense. Needless to say, something's gotta give this weekend in the Big Ten Championship Game.

One thing is for sure, the Buckeyes will be ready for...

Through the first 15 minutes on Saturday, Ohio State looked like the No. 2 team in the country. Braxton Miller threw a couple touchdown passes and the Buckeyes were up 23-0 after the first quarter.

But after that, something seemed to click for Buffalo, or something snapped for Ohio State. Buffalo QB Joe Licata threw one of his two touchdowns and a Khalil Mack pick-six made it a 23-13 game.

However, one of the Buckeye veterans decided to take over. Senior Jordan Hall...

Urban Meyer has yet to set foot in Ohio Stadium when it will actually mean something, and depending on who you talk to, he won't even do that this fall. The tarnished program that Meyer inherited will not be going to a bowl game this year, while this offseason, the program under the microscope has done very little to stay out of trouble.

The latest offender hits Southeast Ohio a little too close to home.

As the blog Eleven Warriors first reported last night, Buckeye senior...
