Members of the Landowner's Association of Muskingum and Coshocton County along with a few of members of their legal advisory team met with the Muskingum County Commissioner's on Thursday to discuss their goals and give them an update on the future of gas and oil drilling in our area.

Monday was the last day for the 39th Annual Utica Sertoma Ice Cream Festival and for the Rieser family, it's a tradition that they never miss.

"This is good family fun and it's inexpensive, you can come and spend money or not. We just love coming here," said Sherry Rieser, who has been attending the festival for 20 years.

Over 200 people gathered at the Southwest Coshocton and Muskingum County Landowner's Association meeting earlier tonight. The monthly meeting was held at Tri-Valley High School in Dresden to discuss oil drilling and leases. The association's petroleum engineering consultant, and two legal teams were at the meeting to answer any questions the landowners had.
