Three local men were inducted the Muskingum County Veterans Hall of Fame Tuesday evening.

The community gathered at the Muskingum County Welcome Center to celebrate newly inducted Elden Hudson, Delmer Dunlap, Frederic Grant and their service to our country. We had the privilege to speak to each of them, who shared their feelings on receiving the awards.

In 2013 Wreaths Across America volunteers laid over 540 thousand memorial wreaths across the country on veteran graves. This year is another chance for you to get involved thanks to Snouffer Funeral Home.

As a small thank you for their service, veterans were able to get a free lunch this Veterans Day at Buffalo Wild Wings.

A new tradition in Duncan Falls began this Veterans Day to honor those who have served our country. Veterans of Muskingum County took part in an honorary luncheon Thursday.

The community lined the streets of Downtown Zanesville Saturday for the annual Veterans Day Parade.

Vietnam Veteran Bud Johnson has served as Chairman of the parade for 13 years. He said the day serves as an opportunity to educate the youth on U.S. Freedom.

Christ's Table is planning ahead to honor Veteran's Day and through the help of the local Veterans Group "Freedom is Yours" those who served can expect a memorable day of appreciation.

President of  "Freedom is Yours" Robert Rose visited Christ's Table Monday to present a $500 check to be used towards the Veteran's Day celebration. In addition to the donation Veteran Elgin Littleton wanted to offer an additional $500 from his own pocket.
