There will be a footgolf tournament on Saturday, June 27.

Nine straight days of rain caused much flooding around the area. 

Not even golf courses were immune. 

The three ponds at Vista Golf Course overcame their banks and became a single, large pond.

There's a new sport coming to Muskingum County.

The Vista Golf Course has welcomed a new game to its course called footgolf, a game of golf played with a soccer ball. Footgolf is brand new to this area and Vista is the first golf course to open up a footgolf course. Golfers gathered at the Vista Golf Course Saturday to raise money for a local organization.

Vista hosted the eighth annual golf scramble with 15 teams participating in the event. The golfers enjoyed Bill's Barbecue after their rounds, served by the Eastside Community Ministry participants. All of the money raised Saturday helps Eastside Ministry. Executive Director Anna Marie Katt said they raised around $4,000 last year, and they hope to continue that success.

Loud music from a marching band may not belong on a golf course, but that doesn't mean golfers can't take to the course to help an area band.

The Zanesville High School Band Boosters will host their third annual golf scramble next Saturday at Vista Golf Course. With limited funding from the school, Booster President Mike Coulson said the band relies on community support to help with expenses.

Eastside Community Ministry held a charity golf outing at Vista Golf Course on Saturday morning.

A golfing camp for children is providing the participants with skills on the course as well as in life.

This is the third year of the Junior Golf Camp at Vista Golf Course. The camp runs about a week and for two hours a day the kids work on a variety of skills.

Vista Golf Course in Nashport has a new event hall for any occasion during all four seasons.
