The City of Zanesville Water Department will close a portion of roadway Thursday. 

Market Street from Underwood to Galigher Street will close beginning at 8am to approximately 1pm weather permitting. 

The water department said water will remain on for the residences in the area as they remove service from 1029 Market Street, due to demolition of the property. 

If work is postponed due to weather conditions the closing is rescheduled for Monday, April 6....

The Village of Crooksville Water Department announces that the recent boil advisory has now been lifted...

The advisory was put in effect Friday for water customers on South Buckeye Street. That has now now been removed.

Residents are encouraged to use their water service as normal.

Some Zanesville residents will need to check their water before using it on Thursday.

The Muskingum County Water Department will be conducting a fire flow test for Autozone around 2 p.m. It will affect Sonora Road and nearby side streets. Residents may experience water discoloration and low water pressure during this time.

Some Zanesville water customers will be without service on Tuesday during the replacement of a water valve and fire hydrant. Public Service Director Mike Sims says the following areas will be without service: South Street from Seventh Street to Fourth Street…the Alley between Fourth Street and Fifth Street from Canal Street to Main Street. The Muskingum County Water Department is lifting a boil advisory that was first issued Thursday.

It was a result of a water break at the intersection of Dunzweiler and Keams Drives and affected areas up through Earl Drive.

Individuals in these areas were asked to boil their water once it was restored and check water for discoloration.
