According to Chris Kerby of the Village of South Zanesville, a watermain break has occurred on East Main Street between Pembrook and State Route 555. 

Crews were boring a new sewer line Thursday and accidently hit a water line. 

Kirby says the portion of the road will be closed for about 4 hours. You are being asked to avoid the area while officals dig up the road for the source.

The Village of Thornville has an announcement for all of its water customers. 

Due to a water main break on Arlington Avenue on State Route 204 in Thornville the entire village is being asked to boil their water. 

The boil advisory is in effect until notice.

Around twenty-five City of Zanesville Water customers find their taps dry Tuesday morning after a water main break.

The City of Zanesville said the break took place around 5 a.m. on Benjamin Avenue. The water department said that the roadway is closed in that area and the water has been shut off.

Crews are on the way to the scene to repair the break and the expect water to be out for the next three to four hours.

The Village of Dresden is having water problems Tuesday.  It all started after the main line from the water plant suffered a break.  Water and Sewer Department Supervisor Justin Wells says it left some customers with low water pressure and those along 8th Street without service.  Wells says the break was fixed by Tuesday afternoon and he has sent in samples of the water to be tested.  That means the Village of Dresden remains under a boil advisory until further...

The Village of Chesterhill is working to repair a major water main break that could leave some residents without water.

Officials say a break occurred near the water tower on Buckeye Ridge and the system had to be shutdown.

Customers may lose pressure or be without water.

They hope to have the break fixed sometime Thursday night.

Once repairs are made customers will need to boil their water until further notice.

The Zanesville Police Department says the Maysville Pike is down to one lane both north and south due to a water main break. Police say it happened in front of Dollar Saver around 12:30 a.m. Z-P-D also wants to remind area motorists that Pine Street is closed due to a water main break earlier this week. No word when repairs will be completed.

Some Zanesville water customers were left without service Tuesday after a 12 inch water main break on Pine Street. Zanesville Mayor Jeff Tilton says it happened around 3 p.m. near Alfred Street. City crews repaired the break and service has been restored to those affected customers.

Zanesville City crews are working to repair a water main break on Pine Street.

Zanesville Mayor Jeff Tilton says a 12 inch water main broke around 3 p.m. Tuesday  near Alfred Street.

He says crews are trying to fix the break which has left most of the southend of the City with little or no water.

It's not known at this time how long it will take to repair the break.

The City of Zanesville says it is dealing with a 10 inch water main break on Warwick Avenue.  It happened Wednesday morning and knocked out service to a good portion of the east end of town including Hamline Avenue, Greenwood Avenue and Wheeling Avenue.  Public Service Director Mike Sims says service should be restored by 2 p.m.  Sims says  and Bishop Fenwick and Rosecrans High Schools were  dismissed early due to the water main break.

City of Zanesville Water Crews work to repair a water main break Wednesday morning...

The break happened on Elm Street in east Zanesville. Residents living on Hamline Avenue, Greenwood Avenue, and Wheeling Avenue will be without service, until the problem is fixed. Residents living on side streets in the area may also be affected. Crews hope to have the repairs complete by noon.
