Zanesville City crews are working to repair a water main break on Pine Street.

Zanesville Mayor Jeff Tilton says a 12 inch water main broke around 3 p.m. Tuesday  near Alfred Street.

He says crews are trying to fix the break which has left most of the southend of the City with little or no water.

It's not known at this time how long it will take to repair the break.

The City of Zanesville says it is dealing with a 10 inch water main break on Warwick Avenue.  It happened Wednesday morning and knocked out service to a good portion of the east end of town including Hamline Avenue, Greenwood Avenue and Wheeling Avenue.  Public Service Director Mike Sims says service should be restored by 2 p.m.  Sims says  and Bishop Fenwick and Rosecrans High Schools were  dismissed early due to the water main break.

City of Zanesville Water Crews work to repair a water main break Wednesday morning...

The break happened on Elm Street in east Zanesville. Residents living on Hamline Avenue, Greenwood Avenue, and Wheeling Avenue will be without service, until the problem is fixed. Residents living on side streets in the area may also be affected. Crews hope to have the repairs complete by noon.

Maysville Regional Water District has a water main break on Potts Lane.  Several customers will be without water Thursday night and most of Friday while crews are reparing the line and valve.

The areas affected are: Potts Lane, Coopermill Road, Old Coopermill Road, Lent Road, George Road, Meadowfarm Church Road, Archer Lane, Ridge Road, and all side streets.

A roadway in Zanesville will remain closed after a water main break Thursday morning.

Water crews said Pine Street between Merrick Avenue and Grove Street looked like a lake when they arrived on the scene around 2 a.m. a 12-inch section of a water main broke.

The Southern Perry County Water District has issued a boil advisory.

The area affected includes all customers in and around Hemlock due to a waterline break.

The boil order will remain in effect until further notice.

The Village of Roseville says some of its water customers are under a boil advisory Wednesday.  Officials says a water main break occurred in the Bluffdale Park area.  If you lost service as a result of this break you are now under a boil advisory until further notice.

The Village of Dresden is dealing with another water main break.  Superintendent Wes Davis says it happened between 5th and 6th Streets.  Residents who live on Chestnut or Cass Streets will likely lose service or experience dirty water.  Davis says once normal service is restored a boil alert will be in place for 24 hours.
