The Zanesville Post of the Highay Patrol is investigating a two car accident that left one on its side.

It happened just after 3:30PM Tuesday afternoon near 2005 Chandlersville Road. Trooper Troy Hale told us how the accident occurred.

Area fire fighters battled the cold and a house fire Monday in Duncan Falls.

It happened at the intersection of Main and Millers Lane. Three people inside were rescued by off-duty firemen. Wayne Township Fire Chief Don Alexander told us how they discovered the blaze.

A two car injury accident occurred Saturday evening at the intersection of 5-55 and State Route 60.

SGT. Melanie Appleman of the Ohio State Highway Patrol told us a black Chevy Pick Up was traveling southbound on State Route 60 in the left-hand lane preparing to make a right-hand turn. Meanwhile a silver GMC Terrain was northbound preparing to make a left-hand turn onto 5-55. Authorities say there was confusion as to what color the light was at the time, and the two cars collided....

An old school building is being put to good use by area firefighters.

Franklin Local School District donated County Connections Preschool to the Wayne Township Volunteer Fire Department.  Fire Chief Donald Alexander said his firefighters are refreshing their skills to practice for real disasters.

The afternoon rain couldn't keep car lovers of all ages from supporting their local fire department.

More than 100 cars came out to Sam Hatfield Stadium in Duncan Falls to take part in the 18th annual car show. All money raised will benefit the Wayne Township Volunteer Fire Department. Assistant Chief Steve Farus said it's one of the only fundraisers they host each year, making it all the more important.
