Fleas may be a bad thing for pets, but flea markets, on the other hand, can be very beneficial.

The Animal Shelter in Muskingum County will be hosting a flea market and yard sale at the Mass Bingo Hall this Saturday as a way to raise money for the shelter.  While there are already several vendors registered, Jody Murray, executive director of the shelter, said they still have plenty of room for more.

Camping takes place on four wheels for members of a special club.

The Seneca Sams Camping Club travels together to camp in their RVs. Members said they've become like a second family, often getting together to not only camp, but play cards and their favorite activity eat.

"It's just relaxing. There's no pressure. There's just relaxation and you don't have to do anything, just hang out," said Seneca Sams Camping Club President Theresa Brosie.

Foxfire School held its annual yard sale Friday afternoon in the gym. Students, parents and teachers all came out to help.

"We use all the proceeds that we get from the yard sale annually for our children's and adults clothes closet," said Nadine Curry, a substance abuse counselor at the school. "We have it for our infants on up through family members, adults and whoever needs clothes throughout the school year and throughout the summer even."

An assortment of items are for sale at Starlight School.

A two day yard sale began Thursday in an effort to raise money for the adult services program. Money raised will go towards supporting various activities for the developmental disabled adults.

"It allows them to participate in the community. It gives them an opportunity to get money by doing various jobs, packing and sorting and that sort of thing," said Larry Wheeler the director of adult services.

If you are looking for stuff look no further then the Bishop Fenwick Yard Sale.

There is clothes, tools, toys and assorted electronics on sale. Seventy-five families are taking part in order to sell their stuff to raise money for the tuition assistance scholarship fund.

"It helps them pay their tuition. It helps families in need come to our school for a Catholic education," explained Kelly Taylor the event's organizer.
