This month's ZAAP featured artist is a familiar face in the art community.

Notorious for speaking on behalf of other featured artists of the month on WHIZ, Gary Graham himself is now in the spotlight. Graham uses acrylic as his medium and enjoys painting landscapes, something he has always had a passion for.

"I paint everyday. And I try to fashion my work from the local area as far as the Amish are concerned in some of my fall scenes," said Graham.

It's time now to announce the Zanesville Appalachian Arts Project featured artist for this month.

Muskingum University Art Professor and Gallery Director Yan Sun specializes in oil painting. His work has been known nationally and internationally. While we were not able to catch up with Sun to talk to him about his work, ZAAP's Gary Graham spoke with us about how soon got started in the art field.
