Lee Donoho of Zanesville, took her first steps without crutches just last week.

Donoho was injured in a car accident after being struck by a drunk driver in 1990. She suffered from infections after the accident which resulted in the loss of her leg in 2009. She was wheelchair bound until she was connected with the Feildhouse and Zach Hanf, who also lost his leg in a car accident. She began physical therapy at the Fieldhouse last October.

Last October, senior Zach Hanf nearly died when he collided head-on with a semi truck on Route 31. After 13 surgeries, including a left leg amputation, Zach was forced to adjust. But his love for athletics didn't stop him from competing. In January, just four days after he was fitted for a prosthetic leg, Zach was walking.
