Some local students are leaving the classroom to explore the outdoors.

Students from John McIntire Elementary School spent their Wednesday at Zane State College's Natural Resource Center. The Nature Interpretation class hosted the event.

An area college is hoping to help with economic development in southeastern Ohio.

An area college is seeking federal funds to help support its proposed expansion.

 It is never too late or too early to play an instrument. Saturday, Zane State College made it easier for community members to do just that.

Residents got the chance to learn instruments like the mountain dulcimer, harmonica or even the ukulele.
Music instructor Joe Zsigray chose the instruments for their unique qualities.

Planning for college can be tough, but getting your finances in order can make the process a little bit easier.

American Electric Power donates funds towards Zane State's new Advanced Science and Technology Center.

High school seniors are thinking about college today.

Three years ago, Zane State began a convocation ceremony for first-year students where they vowed to put an emphasis on success.

According to the publication, G.I. Jobs, Zane State College has been named along the top 15% of schools in the nation that are embracing Ameria's veterans as students.
