Students at Zanesville High School learned a lesson in vehicle maintenance Wednesday.

AAA technicians inspected their vehicles for free, to ensure they are safe and ready to combat the winter months ahead. Public Relations Manager for AAA-Ohio, Kimberly Schwind, said they've been doing this for a number of years, and last year found that nearly 95 percent of inspected vehicles had at least one fault.

Zanesville High School made their own piece of history this evening.

The new high school had its first day of school ever on September 7, 2010 and in honor of the history they've made so far a time capsule was buried in the courtyard.

For the first time this school year, students entered the doors at Zanesville High School Tuesday.  

Nearly 900 of them filled the halls and the classrooms. It wasn't long before the typical first day issues surfaced. One student entered the office to say she couldn't get her locker opened. Principal Garry Young said teachers are ready to get going.

The Zanesville High School Class of 2015 walked across the stage Saturday in their graduation ceremony.

Zanesville High School held their annual induction ceremony for the Hall of Fame Sunday evening.

The Zanesville High School Robotics Club is back from the world championships and they have good news to share with the community!

The team matched their school's best record of five and five in the championships. The competition featured 450 teams that are divided into 5 divisions with 90 a piece. ZHS placed 34th out of the 90. Lead builder Christopher Sheline says they are able to apply their team experiences to real life.

The Zanesville Sophomore Honors English Class held their book launch Thursday.
