Now through Sunday Zanesville Municipal Airport is offering rides in the EA 1929 Ford Tri-Motor airplane so you can get that birds eye view of the area.

Rides in the historic plane cost only 75 dollars and hours of operation will be from 9 a.m to 5 p.m Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The plane seats 10 passengers in comfortable leather seats with big picture windows great for sight seeing. We caught up with pilot Colin Soucy:

Zanesville City Council held their first meeting of the month of December Monday evening.

An ordinance allowing the city to advertise bids for the leasing of land for farming at the Zanesville Municipal Airport was up for its third reading Monday. We spoke to Jay Bennett, the city's Public Service Director, about the ordinance.

An ordinance passes through Zanesville City Council hiring three temporary employees for the city.

The employees are retired communications officers and will be hired through a temporary employment agency to work at least 90 days. The hope is to allow current dispatchers take delayed vacations and save the city money on overtime.
