A town hall meeting proposed the idea that the current tax system is flawed and a tax reform is needed.

Today the Zanesville Patriots held a free public showing of the documentary, "Fracknation" at the Zanesville-Muskingum County Welcome Center in hopes to clear the negative air about fracking. The Zanesville Patriots hosted an energy summit at Bryan Place Saturday.

Around two hundred people gathered Thursday evening on the Muskingum County Courthouse steps.

The Tea Party Rally featured speakers who spoke about everything from taxes to healthcare to legislation in the works. Last year's rally had around 600 people and organizer, Kay Clymer, says she is disappointed in the turnout.
