A missing Zanesville woman has made contact with family but is still considered a subject of interest by police.
According to Zanesville Police Captain Ken Miller 29 year-old Vivian Evans was reported missing almost 2 weeks ago. Miller said authorities received a call Monday afternoon from a woman claiming to be Evans who stated she is in Columbus and doing fine. Police received another phone call that same day from Evan's mother saying she had spoken to her daughter.

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz said 32-year-old Scott Roberts of Zanesville is facing 43 charges that include burglary, breaking and entering, vandalism and theft. Roberts is suspected of being responsible for nearly all of the church break-ins since July 14th as well as a number of home burglaries taking place throughout the city and county.
