A Zanesville business suffers major damage after a fire around 6pm Wednesday.
Authorities are calling the fire at Zane Trace Clean Care Uniforms at 763 Putnam Avenue suspicious. According to Zanesville Assistant Fire Chief David Huey the owner's alarm system indicated a break-in that was shortly followed by the fire alarm.

Detective Sergeant Rick Roush said 14 year-old Grant Hickman was found dead early Saturday morning at a home in the 300 block of Taylor Street in Zanesville. A resident of 364 Taylor Street confirmed the incident did happen at that location, but did not care to comment further.

According to Lt. Tony Coury, officers were called to 254 Gray Street around 7:30 p.m. Coury says there was an argument at the home where the suspect fired a shot into the air and then fled the scene on foot.

It happened around 9:15 Friday evening on West Main Street in Zanesville.
According to Officer Tom Porter with the Zanesville Police Department, the women appeared to be leaving the M.A.S.S. Bingo Hall when they used the crosswalk to cross West Main Street. Officer Porter says a female driver in a Jeep Liberty was traveling eastbound and struck the two women while they were in the crosswalk.
