Zanesville Police continue their investigation into a weekend drug bust.

Police said Saturday November 20, around 8:30pm the Narcotics Unit with help from the Special Response Team and Patrol Officers executed a search warrant at a home at 725 Bates Street.

Police says the bust was a result of a several month investigation into complaints of drug activity and prostitution going on at the residence.

Zanesville police arrest three people of interest in connection with a string of recent car and business break-ins, however they believe there could be more individuals involved.

Wednesday around 6 p.m., Zanesville police officers apprehended three Zanesville residents who they had been investigating in relation to numerous break-ins around the city. Police took a 31 year old male, a 33 year old female, and a 34 year old man into custody.

The Zanesville Police Department has three suspects in custody who are wanted in connection with several area break-ins.

Lt. Tony Coury says the two men and one woman were spotted shortly after 6 p.m. near the intersection of Madison Street and Woodlawn Avenue. Coury says one man was arrested, but another man and the woman fled. A foot chase ensued and officers caught the woman. The man jumped into the Muskingum River, but then decided to surrender to officers.

Tonight, two local heroes got the chance to say "thank you."

Zanesville Police Department Patrolman Mike Schiele and K-9 partner, Bosco, were both injured during a shooting in August of 2009. Monday night, the pair thanked everyone who had a part in Bosco's recovery process.

The Zanesville Police Department is welcoming everyone to attend an event to pay tribute to a former police dog.

Doors at the John Mcintire Library open at 7pm Monday, October 4.

It's a chance for everyone who helped raise funds and gave support to the injured K-9 to visit with this special dog.

It took intense therapy at the Ohio State University Veterinarian Hospital to get Bosco walking again.

He now helps the Zanesville Police Department as a public relations dog...

Zanesville Police investigate a shooting incident on Mead Street.

Lt. Bill Shaw says that around 11:30 Thursday night the department received several calls about gunfire in the area.

When officers arrived they found a parked vehicle and a house that were hit by bullets.

No injuries were reported. During the investigation one person was arrested on an outstanding warrant, drugs were also found on that person.

A Zanesville man is charged with six counts after police say he led authorities on a high-speed chase.

According to Muskingum County Prosecutor Mike Haddox, 38-year-old Keith Stevens is facing two felony charges of failure-to-comply, a felony charge of theft of a motor vehicle, a felony charge of vandalism, a misdemeanor charge of theft and a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest.

A 40-year-old man pleads guilty to eight counts in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court.

Robert Johnson faced four counts of breaking and entering, two theft counts of less than $500, and two theft counts of more than $500.

While one family mourns the loss of a Zanesville man, community members sympathize with the family and remember the tragic accident.

Blue Avenue in Zanesville was shut down for more than a half-hour following a two car accident Wednesday night.

It happened at the intersection of Blue and Forest Avenues just before 8 p.m. Patrolman James Devoll of the Zanesville Police Department says that a Subaru was traveling West on Forest when it failed to observe the stop sign, and struck the driver's side of a Cadillac traveling South on Blue Avenue.

Both drivers were transported to Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital....
