The Muskingum County Community Foundation is preparing for their annual Groundhog Day Celebration and Auction. Beginning pottery enthusiast throughout the nation will come to Zanesville.

The annual pottery week celebration serves as a reunion for collectors of pottery. The 10 days of festivities will include sales, auctions, trades and events. The Zanesville Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce's Lori Kappes said, more than 500 people will attend.

During Pottery Week you can find different varieites from all over the world right here in Muskingum County.

Zanesville Pottery on the East Pike not only carries a huge variety of kitchenware and home decor.

"We get stuff from everywhere. We have stuff out of Poland, Mexico and Thailan.  We also have local pottery" said company president Kim Castor.
