D-II District Final @ OU-East

It was close, and then it wasn't. Zanesville had their struggles, but was able to put away the Indian Creek Redskins, 55-44 to earn yet another District title for the Blue and White. Zanesville was up just four points at halftime, but when the game got close, Zanesville was at their best: never allowing the Redskins to re-take the lead after an Indian Creek 5-0 start. It was the same result, this time in regulation. The Zanesville Blue Devils are sectional champs once again, thanks to a 50-37 victory over Maysville. It wasn't the overtime thriller the two teams treated us to a year ago, instead a more battle tested Blue Devil bunch pushed all the right buttons against a Panther team that weathered a few early storms. After an early 8-0 deficit, Maysville battled to make it a 19-14 Zanesville advantage at halftime, thanks in part to poor shooting from both...
