The Zanesville City Water Maintenance Department is dealing with an outrageous amount of water main breaks for this time of year...36 in 30 days to be exact. Five of those breaks happened in a single day.

The Zanesville community is already planning how to honor its veterans this November.
Veterans Council President, Bud Johnson, says he sent letters out to the community yesterday, asking for people's involvement in the annual parade, and he's already received four float entries, which is overwhelming.
"I know everybody in this county is touched by a veteran somewhere. Spend 30 minutes of your time and watch them, " says Johnson.
Injuries are never timely, but days before the season kicks off is a whole different animal. The Blue Devils are suffering a huge blow to the strength of their defensive attack with Division I prospect and defensive end, Anthony Smith, suffering a sprained ankle.
