The 6th Annual Y Bridge Arts Festival is taking place at Zanes Landing Park the first weekend in August.

The event will run from 6PM to 10PM Friday evening. It will also run from 11AM to 10PM Sunday. The festival brings together over 100 artists from around the nation, 16 are coming all the way from China. Those who attend will get to enjoy food, music and of course artwork. Volunteer Coordinator Tami Swope, says there is a lot of variety for viewing and purchase.

The Zanesville area has received over an inch of rain in the last 24 hours, and with those heavy rains, comes the risk of flooding.

Quick heavy downpours and extended amounts of rain tend to allow for ponding and even flash flooding on the roadways. With the Muskingum river cutting through Zanesville, there is important to be mindful of high waters. Many have seen the beautiful fireworks display at Stars and Stripes on the River, but are unaware of the hard work and family tradition behind it.

For the last 20 years, the Vincent Family has been lighting fireworks for many displays around the area, including the display at Zanes Landing. Stephen Vincent, Pyrotechnician of Record for Friday's show, says a lot of hard work goes into preparing the Fourth of July fireworks.

 Zanesville's Morgan Smith and Ashonda Underwood teamed up with John Glenn's Mackenzie Prater to represent the East District in the 2014 Ohio Underclass Fastpitch Tournament at Pickerington High School Central.

The search for a missing Blue Rock man continues and now search parties are being organized to help find John Bartholow.

The 67-year-old has been missing since Friday, according to the Muskingum County Sheriff's Office. John was last seen wearing a brown striped shirt, brown pants and boots.
