The Zaney Follies were hard at work Monday night practicing for their annual variety show.

A brand new organization is taking over a variety show that Genesis Healthcare founded 25 years ago.

The Zaney Follies show is being handed off from Genesis HealthCare to another group. Public Relations Manager Holly Voltz says after 25 years of successful shows Genesis will no longer produce the show which benefited Genesis Hospice Care. This weekend, the Zaney Follies will have their annual spring variety show.

All of the proceeds from the Follies show will go to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care. The two show times are on Saturday at 7:30 and a matinee on Sunday at 230, which is a different schedule than previous years.

It's audition time for the Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care Zaney Follies spring show.

Hundreds of people packed Secrest Auditorium for opening night of the 24th annual Zaney Follies.

Friday night kicked off the 23rd annual Zaney Follies show at Secrest Auditorium.

Director John Kunkel says more than 100 volunteers from all over southeast Ohio have been hard at work since January to prepare for "Zaney Radio...WZNY...On the air", which benefits Genesis Hospice.

The Zaney Follies are preparing for this year's show themed " Zaney Radio... WZNY... on the air".

Performers have been practicing for 5 weeks and now it is down to the wire. Director John Kunkel says it'll be a great time for viewers and proceeds go towards a good cause.
