On this Labor Day, a local restaurant is serving those who serve the community day in and day out.
In what they call 'Hospitality on a Visit,' employees from Olive Garden made a special trip to Zanesville's Public Safety Center. While many have the day off, the men and women who serve and protect are hard at work, so Olive Garden thought the Zanesville Police and Fire Departments deserved a nice lunch.

A hearing has been set in a domestic abuse incident that police say happened Monday afternoon in Zanesville.
The Zanesville Police Department says it received a call that the suspect, 33-year-old Paul Mullet, tried to throw his live-in girlfriend off of the roof of a home while she was trying to escape. He then fled. Police say he later returned to the scene around 9p.m. locking himself in the attic threatening to do himself harm.
As the week-long Click-it or Ticket program draws to an end, Zanesville Police Department's Sergeant Chris Rice says that the program has helped the department crack down on driving violations throughout the city.
"So far we've had a good success. We've written 75 speeding violations, we've had over 28 other incidents including driving under suspension, towed vehicles. We even got an out-of-state felony warrant arrest from a traffic stop," says Sergeant Rice.
A vehicle takes out a light pole and flees the scene.
Zanesville Police Lt. Bill Shaw says the vehicle was heading north on Underwood Street at Market Street around midnight when it hit the pole.
Lt. Shaw says they're now searching for that vehicle which they believe to be full sized due to the size of the tire tracks. They believe the vehicle has front end damage along with damage to its roof from where the light pole fell.
