The Newcomerstown Fire Department annual Chicken Barbecue and Car Show is Saturday, October 17, at the David Barber Civic Center, located at 1066 East State Street in Newcomerstown. Car show registration is $10 and lasts from 9:00 am until 12 noon. There will be 75 awards and Best of Show awarded at 1:30 pm. at Zanesville Bible Methodist Church (925 Grove Rd, Zanes) on October 1-2, 9AM to 5PM. Many, many items gathered from our congregation to raise money for a missions trip to Haiti. There is something for everyone! Knic-knacs, clothes for all genders and sizes, children's toys, roller blades, weight lifting equipment, even a vintage wedding dress! In church front yard if weather permits; if it's raining the sale will still go on--indoors in the gym behind the church.
