In celebration of Earth Day, Dr Jim Fonseca, professor of geography, will present "Our Fragile Earth" in the Elson Hall Auditorium on Wednesday, April 22, at 7 p.m. Fonseca will encourage participants to look at our earth using unusual perspectives and map projections: its size and shape, hemispheres and antipodes, highest mountains and deepest ocean trenches, and amount of air and water. Learn new ways of visualizing and thinking about our earth! This is part of Ohio University Zanesville’s Third Thursday event series and is free and open to the community.
