Muskingum Valley Park District is participating in National Public Gardens Day at Mission Oaks Gardens, 1864 Euclid Ave, Zanesville on Friday, May 8. Guided tours from 3:30 - 7:00 PM. Go Green! Recycle Day

GO GREEN! Recycling paper, cardboard, metals, plastic, computer components and computer ink cartridges. No televisions or glass. This is sponsored by Good Will, Coburn United Methodist Church, Barnes Advertising and WHIZ Media Group. Go Green! will take place at the Coburn United Methodist Church located at 3618 Maple Ave. (Across from Colony Square Mall) on Saturday, June 6, from 9 AM to noon. Enter the church parking lot from Kay Drive, drive through and exit on to Maple Ave. You won't have to leave your car!

ZCT Play "Proof"

The Zanesville Community Theatre is proud to present Proof, Friday and Saturday April 24 & 25 at 8pm. Also a Sunday mantinee April 26 at 2:30 PM, at the 940 Findley Avenue theatre in the McIntire Historic District. The play involves Catherine, the dutiful daughter, her brilliant but troubled father, Robert, her estranged sister, Claire and Hal, the grad student who hopes to find valuable information in Robert's notebooks. Community Recycle Day

Ohio University Zanesville’s environmental club, Green Bobcats, will be hosting a community recycling day on April 18, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Members of the community are invited to bring aluminum cans, paper, glass and plastic containers for collection to help increase environmental and recycling awareness. The Green Bobcats have hosted the event for the past five years and expect another great turn out this year.
