Zane Traces Literary Journal Launch

to be held April 12 at OUZ. Zane Traces Literary Journal Student Editor, Shanda Hamilton, invites the community to attend the launch of Zane Traces VIII on Tuesday, April 12, from 6-7 p.m. in the Elson Hall Auditorium. The Zane Traces Literary Journal staff solicits submissions from students, faculty and staff associated with OUZ. The mission of the publication is to promote creative expression and to provide a venue for student work to be recognized.

The OSU Alumni Club Annual Scholarship Auction

The OSU Alumni Club of Muskingum County (OSUACMC) - 17th Annual Scholarship Auction is Tuesday, May 10 from 5:30 - 9:30 pm at VFW Post 1058 (1318 Putnam Ave, Zanesville). Featured Speaker: Roy Hall, Former Ohio State and NFL Wide Receiver and Founder/President of the Driven Foundation. Live and Silent Auctions, Dinner Buffet & Cash Bar, Annual Club Awards. 5K Walk/Run for C.A.S.S. M.I.N.D. Academy

This annual Walk/Run is on April 24. Registration starts at 12:00 and goes to 1:30 pm. The 5K starts off at 2:00 pm. Also silent auctions, venues and a live performance! Food and drinks will also be provided. Come and help support us with our mission of providing schooling as well as social services for autistic children and their families. We hope to see you there! Kaitlyn Grannon Memorial Cystic Fibrosis Walk

On Saturday, April 30 from 2:00- 6:00P.M., the Philo High School Senior Class of 2016 will be hosting the Kaitlyn Grannon Memorial Cystic Fibrosis Walk. The walk will be held at the Philo Track complex. All proceeds will go to the Grannon family for funeral and medical expenses, as well as the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for research. There will be a silent auction, concessions, and a DJ and band for entertainment. A bonfire and potluck will follow the walk, with a lantern launch at dark.

Wayne and Katherine Niles, American Baptist Missionaries

5K WALK

at 1 pm on Sunday April 24 at Muskingum County Fairgrounds. To benefit the fairgrounds restroom restorations, maintenance, plus tables and chairs for Veteran's building. $20 per adult walker, $5 for children walkers ages 13-17. Free for children 12 and under. Registration at front main gate starting at 12 noon.

Pancake Breakfast

The Wakatomika VFW Post 6193 All You Can Eat Mush and Pancake Breakfast is7:30 a.m. till 10:30 a.m. on April 16. There is a $6 Donation for Adults, $3 for Children 6 – 12. Children 5 and under eat free. Homemade Mush, Pancake, Scrambled Eggs, Sausage,

Book Discussion

at the Zanesville Museum of Art – Boston Raphael by Belinda Rathbone on Thursday, April 21 at 6 pm. Area adults are invited to read and discuss the fascinating true story of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts’ acquisition of a previously unknown painting by Raphael and how the chaos that ensued challenged the museum and its charismatic director, Perry Rathbone. Registered participants will be loaned a copy of the book. Registration is required and space is limited for this free program.
