Dr. Porter's topic will be Ohioans' Roles During the Convulsions after Lincoln's Assassination: The Assassins' Conspiracy Trial and the Impeachment of Andrew Johnson. Dr. Porter is Professor Emerita from Muskingum University. During her long career she has been awarded the Outstanding Teacher Award (1998) by the Ohio Academy of History and was elected to the Ohio Women's Hall of Fame in 2000.
