Precipitation and gusty winds expected this weekend:

Dry, quiet conditions are expected to persist through the day Saturday as a surface high-pressure system moves east.

Precipitation chances and gusty winds are expected to return late Saturday night into Sunday as the remnants of Isaias move north towards the region. Showers may be heavier at times, but rainfall rates may be low enough to avoid flash flooding. Showers will be accompanied by gusty winds up to 25 mph at times. The precipitation and gusty winds will likely exit early Monday morning as the system moves east, with rainfall totals likely over an inch across the region.

Looking ahead to next week, there will be periodic chances of precipitation from a couple of systems. Otherwise, highs will be warmer-than-normal.
