ZANSEVILLE, Ohio- Saturday is Cinco de Mayo, and many will be heading out to celebrate.

The Barn owner Jim Watson wants to invite everyone to stop on by and join them for a day of food, music, and sports.

“Tomorrow’s going to be an exciting day, we have Cinco de Mayo, we’re going to have a Cinco de Mayo party,” said Watson. “It’s pretty much all day, we have our Mexican menu, our patented Mexican menu. We have $1.59 tacos, we’re going to have margaritas, pretty much anything you can think of that would go along with Cinco de Mayo.”

Watson said that along with the food and sports, two local bands will be joining in the festivities for Saturday evening.

“Later on we’ve got two bands scheduled. We’re going to have, the first band starts at 5:00, they’re some local guys from Tri-Valley high school that are going to be playing here,” said Watson. “The name of the band is Crimson Wavelength. We’re excited to have them here for the first paid gig. And we’re also going to have Tin Pan Alley.”

Watson said they will not only be celebrating Cinco de Mayo but will also have a Kentucky Derby party starting at 2 P.M. The race, along with other sports games, will be shown during the event.
