1 Million Dollar Bond Set For Burris
A Cambridge man charged with murder in the death of a pizza delivery driver made his first court appearance. 32-year-old Adams Burris appeared via video in Cambridge Municipal Court. Judge Mark Nicholson set Burris’ bond at 1 million dollars. The Judge then continued the hearing until Thursday. Burris is charged in connection with the death of 26-year-old Kayla Thompson. She was a pizza delivery driver and mother of two also from Cambridge. Thompson was reported missing on December 26th after failing to return from a delivery on McPherson Avenue in Cambridge. Authorities say a female at that home said she saw Burris driving away in the delivery car. Burris was later stopped by the Highway Patrol on I-70 in Guernsey County and investigators say he led them to Thompson’s body at Dillon State Park
