ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Primrose Retirement Community celebrated their 10th anniversary Saturday, September 15th and they took advantage of the warm weather.

With tents set up outside, everyone was surrounded by good food and good company. Jan and Taylor Stults are two of longest residents at Primrose Retirement. They’ve been married for 61 years and for eight of those years they’ve lived in this very community.

“It’s been perfect. Perfect for us. We left a very big house with lots of care and we have a villa that’s a miniature of that house and it’s perfect,” Jan Stults said.  “We’ve got wonderful people here to meet and make new friends,” Taylor Stults said.

Jan Stults said the staff always wants to help and are very forgiving and kind to the residents. Shala Steinman and Nancy Argo are two employees that have been working in the community from the very start of it all.

“It’s been a wonderful experience. I started out as the sales director and helped fill the building and then became the executive director, I’ve been that for eight years, it’s a great journey,” Steinman said. “You don’t feel like you come to work everyday. It’s exciting. You feel like you come to work everyday to take care of your grandparents and provide them the care that you would want your loved ones to receive as well.”

Both said that the employees feel as if they are a part of a topnotch family and they are overwhelmed with all of the support they have received. If you want to find out any information about the Primrose Retirement Community you can look on their website or give them a call them at (740) 450-1100 and anyone would be willing to help.
