Dorothy A. Brandfass

ZANESVILLE

Dorothy Ann Brandfass, 89, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Primrose. She was born December 8, 1931 in Zanesville to the late Lafayette and Frances Margaret Gassaway. She was a graduate of Lash High School. Dorothy enjoyed painting, crafts and pottery. She was a member of Central Trinity United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her grandchildren: Gabriel H. (Tracy) Brandfass and Justin K. (Crystal) Brandfass; two sisters: Delores C. Webb and Ella (Kenneth) Caudill; a daughter in law Cynthia Brandfass; five great grandchildren: Sydney, Seth, Moses, Memphis, and Moxson; and a sister in law Sandy (Clarence) Holbein.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard E. Brandfass; a son Richard N. Brandfass; sisters: Violet Smith and Betty Smith; a brother Lafayette (Mary) Gassaway Jr.

Calling hours will be from 11AM to 1PM Friday, February 12, 2021 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 W. MILITARY ROAD. The funeral service will begin at 1PM in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Steve Judson officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
