12th District Congressman Thanks Hometown for Support

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Troy Balderson, the 12th District Congressman, came to Zanesville this morning.

The first steps he plans to take will be very basic. He has most of his staff for his district office in Westerville and he will be setting up a DC staff as well. Balderson said he wants to find the right people that will represent him and his goals.

“Discontinue this economic agenda. I mean to me the most important thing are jobs and we are in a job growth right now that we’ve not seen in 50 to 60 years right now and I want to continue that growth and I look forward to working with those folks to do that,”Balderson said.

After working on job growth, Balderson’s next step will be workforce development initiatives. He will start getting workforce training ideas out there for kids, adults and returning veterans.

“Thank you very much. It’s been a fast six months and this community has gotten behind me and has played a major role in where we are today. I look forward to serving them. I’m excited, i’m honored and i’m blessed to be able to do this,” Balderson said.

Being from Zanesville, he does want to create an environment for job growth in the area and help get people working.
