Elizabeth “Lizzy” A. Miller

Elizabeth “Lizzy”  A. Miller, 83 of  Zanesville died at 6:35 PM  Thursday, December 8, 2022 at the Cedar Hill Healthcare & Rehabilitation  .

She was born December 12, 1938 in Zanesville, Ohio the  daughter of Robert Merola and  Jenny Jones Merola Hook.

Lizzy was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and Head cook at Philo High School for many years where she retired and also worked for the Franklin School District for 31 years. She mostly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by two children, Bill (Darlene) Miller and Penny Phillips; six grandchildren, Jeremy miller, Brad (Jessie) Miller, Kyle (Mallary) Miller, Jamie Efaw, Derek (Ashley) Efaw and Jarrett (Amanda) Efaw; ex-daughter-in-law, Tresandra McLeod and numerous great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Lizzy was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Miller Sr. and a brother Harold Merola.

Visitation will be held 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday December 12, 2022 with funeral service  held at 1:00 PM on  Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Gamble officiating. Burial will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park.
