Three Lady Generals Sign Letters of Intent

The state of the high school basketball season is quickly approaching and as we get ready for the season three Sheridan Generals have made plans for taking their skills to the next level.
Three members of the Sheridan Lady Generals chose their colleges and signed their letters of intent. Those players include Nora Saffell, Jenna Stewart and Jamisyn Stinson.
Nora Saffell will take her talents to Union University to continue her basketball career. She’s glad to have her decision made.
“It’s nice to have picked a school, so you can just focus on your team and just having a successful season and not all about like your stats and stuff and just encouraging each other and being the best teammate you can be,” said Saffell.
Jamisyn Stinson will be trading in Ohio for Florida where she’ll play at the Division 1 level for North Florida University.
“Being a recruit is hard especially now and days with the whole transfer portal and everything like,” said Stinson. “I feel like it’s hard but it also brings leadership skills because you have so much pressure and stress from all the coaches who reach out to you and stuff like that it’s kind of crazy everyone dreams to be a D1 athlete or any level athlete really because there’s such a low percentage. I feel like it’s really special and it’s a big thing to be proud of and I think it’ll be fun for the season now that all that is off my plate and I don’t have to worry about it I can just focus on winning this season out.”
Jenna Stewart plans to run cross country at Bluffton University.
