Meet Stallone: The K9 Adoption Center Dog of The Week

ZANESVILLE, OH – This week’s top dog at the K9 Adoption Center is none other than Stallone, a Rottweiler mix with a heart of gold.

At just three years old, Stallone has been winning hearts with his friendly demeanor. He’s not only human-friendly, but also gets along with other dogs. He’s neutered, he keeps a clean kennel, and he’s ready to win the title of your loyal companion. However, time is ticking as he is set to join a rescue soon. Those interested in making Stallone a part of their lives must act fast before March 20th.

“He’s just a big teddy bear and is very gentle. I feel like anybody of any size can walk him. He walks very slow, he’s very content, and just loves to be beside you. He would be a great companion for any family,” K9 Adoption Center Volunteer, Doug McQuaid said.

The K9 Adoption Center is still offering dog licenses, making it easier for pet owners to comply with regulations and ensuring lost dogs can be quickly reunited with their families.

“We are open Tuesday through Sunday. We are closed on Mondays. You can still get your dog licenses at our facility. We really suggest that you do that. It’s very important that your dog has a license and that it’s placed on them so when they do become lost or happen to get loose, it’s a way for us to get the dog right back to you as quick as possible,” McQuaid said.
