Vance Admits Guilt

Muskingum Co- A Zanesville man admitted to charges of assault and domestic violence.

The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office said 26-year-old Koltan Vance plead guilty to charges of felonious assault, abduction and domestic violence.

On April 16, law enforcement responded to a domestic violence report. According to the victim, Vance came home drunk around 4a.m. and demanded the victim give him her bank card and car keys.

Officials said the victim refused and Vance hit the victim several times while attempting to take the keys from her. Vance knocked the victim to the ground and slashed her neck with the keys.

Vance will be sentenced at a later date. He faces a maximum of 12 years in prison.
