The 18th annual Hearth, Home, and Away Show

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The 18th annual Hearth, Home, and Away Show kicked off this morning at the Colony Square Mall.
This event gives local home owners the chance to talk to vendors about house and property projects they have planned. ‘All Decked Out’ owned by David Thomas has been in business for 12 years and has attended the show annually for the last 10 years.
“It started as you know let’s get our name out there, but we’ve evolved from a deck builder to a full service builder,” Thomas said. “It’s just as much fun now just to kind of be out here and a lot of old customers, a lot of new customers. Just getting out here talking to them and showing them what’s new.”
Thomas said the show is a great way to meet potential customers each year. Even local business owners Adam and Jenny Funk attended their first Hearth, Home and Away Show this year to inform the community of what they have to offer.
“We’re here, we’re still doing fencing, we’re doing everything from residential to commercial,” Jenny Funk said. “We have some displays of vinyl Fence, poplar board fence, split rail, some barbed wire, Hotcoat, and high tensile.”
There are about 20 vendors this year at the Hearth, Home, and Away Show. The event is happening until Sunday evening at the Zanesville Colony Square Mall.
