More Information in Inmate Escape

Muskingum Co-  The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office has released more information regarding an escaped inmate.

The sheriff’s office Chief Deputy Jeff LeCocq said Wayne Pletcher was being held on felony charges of tampering with evidence and possession of drug abuse instruments, also a holder from the Adult Parole Authority and a warrant from the Knox County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for theft, when he escaped.

LeCocq said it’s believed Pletcher received outside assistance in the escape from 45-year-0ld Sara Moore. Moore is a 5’5 white female, weighing around 130 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. She has numerous tattoos including stars on both wrists and her right foot. She has trust and believe on her right forearm and Liv Ally with stars on her neck. She also has outlaw tattooed on her right chest and a picture of Dawn of the Dead on her upper left arm.

Authorities said she’s now charged with obstructing justice and complicity to commit escape.

No weapons were used during the escape and no one was injured.
