2 Injured in Maple Avenue Accident
Two drivers are taken to the hospital, following an accident on Maple Avenue.
It happened around 2:45 p.m.
Zanesville Police Sergeant Chris Phipps says 28-year-old Terrie Glosser was pulling out of the Staple’s lot on Country Club Drive, when 19-year-old Jessie Mikalik went through a red light on State Route 60 and struck her vehicle. The force of the impact pushed Glosser’s vehicle onto its side.
Both were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital with minor injuries.
Phipps says Mikalik was cited with failure to obey a traffic light.
