2 Teens in Serious Condition After Accident

Two teenagers are in serious condition after an accident in Coshocton County.

It happened around 11:30 a.m.

Coshocton Sheriff’s Sergeant John Glasure says 17-year-old Dustin Edgell and 19-year-old Cody Edgell were riding a four-wheeler on County Road 58. He says they attempted to cross State Route 541, when they were struck by a pick-up truck, driven by 73-year-old Archie Brink.

Brink was not injured in the incident. Dustin and Cody were transported to Coshocton Memorial Hospital and later taken by Medflight to Akron City Hospital. A hospital spokewoman says the teenagers are in the ICU with serious injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
