2015 Genesis Employee Service Award Ceremony

Wednesday, Genesis Hospital held its 2015 Employee Service Award Ceremony.

Genesis is honoring and celebrating over 400 employees from five years of service to 45 years of service. We were able to talk to one of the honorary award members herself on her plans after putting in an outstanding 45 years at genesis:

“I’m just going to keep coming to work everyday and doing the best job that I can for our patients. I really love my job, I honestly do. It’s always been so good to me and everyday just goes by so quickly so it’s been an honor just to work for this organization” says Julia Williams.

A committee puts together this celebration each year and this year there are an outstanding 7 employees with over 40 years of service attending the event. We were able to speak with the Chief Human Resources Officer a little more about the ceremony:

“It is the heart of who we are as an organization. Without our employees and the deadication and the hours and hours and years and years of service that they give to us we wouldn’t be able to do what we do. Our mission would never become reality for the community and they are an amazing group of people that I truly treasure” says Dianna LeVeck.

Leveck says Genesis is thrilled and fortunate to be able to show such appreciation for their employees.
