2015 Genesis Pro-Am Results

There were plenty of golfers in town over the weekend for the 2015 Genesis Pro-Am held at Zanesville Country Club. There were 165 players, including 32 pros who participated in the Pro-Am on Sunday.

Portsmouth, Ohio native Bob Sowards came in first place in the Pro-Am and took home the $5000 grand prize. Sowards turned pro in 1991 and has worked as a club pro and has also played on professional tours. Jared Jones, who is a PGA professional in Dublin, came in second place, which earned him $2,100. Dan Cage and Chas Wilson tied for third and both took home $1,100 a piece.

While there were plenty of professionals who played in the tournament, many local golfers also had the opportunity to compete in the Pro-Am.
