2018 Women of Achievement Announced
The Muskingum County Women of Achievement Steering Committee is proud to announce the 2018 Women of Achievement recipients in eight categories. This year’s recipients are:
- Becky Joseph, Josephine Phillips Health Care Award
- Nancy Beitzel, Aldine Roach Flegal Special Recognition Award
- Debra Nye, Mary Townsend Professions Award
- Victoria (Tori) Thomas, Mary Vashti Jones Funk Business Award
- Madeline (Mady) Wilson, Muskingum Community Youth Foundation Bright Futures Award
- Irene Baron, Winifred K. Vogt Education Award
- Sarah McInturf, Ethel Granger Schultz Young Adult Award
- Mary Perone, Muskingum Family Y Lifetime Service Award
Tickets for the banquet in honor of the 2018 recipients are on sale now through April 2 or until sold out. The Women of Achievement event is made possible through the support of those who attend the event and the organizations that sponsor the various awards. In addition to providing the awards and honoring the recipients at the banquet event, the proceeds provide scholarships for Muskingum County women who attend either Zane State College or Ohio University Zanesville, as well as a scholarship that is awarded to a student who attends the Muskingum County Community Foundation’s College Night event.
The 2018 Women of Achievement banquet will be held on Wednesday, April 11, (doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the dinner program begins at 6 p.m.) at the Ohio University Zanesville/Zane State College Campus Center, 1425 Newark Road.
