2024 Zane’s Trace Commemoration is Coming Up

ZANESVILE, OH – Mark your calendars for a splash of summer fun at the 2024 Zane’s Trace Commemoration!

The third annual Zane’s Trace Commemoration is happening June 14th through the 16th at the Putnam Landing area, just south of the 6th Street Bridge. This much anticipated event will feature parades, arts and crafts, delicious food, numerous contests, and live music performances.

“We’ll have a little bit of everything going on. We’ve got a place to have a boat race and we’re going to have a Civil War reenactment this year. On Saturday, there’ll be a big parade downtown. We’ve got a lot of vendors and live music all weekend. There’s going to be stuff for kids to do, there’s a kid’s area. Just a little bit of everything,” President of the Commemoration Rick Buck said.

This yearly festival promises to be a fun experience for all ages and is the perfect opportunity to kick off the summer with family, friends, and neighbors.

“It brings the community together and it reflects on the past of how Zanesville was founded and such. It’s a celebration but yet, it’s a history education also,” Buck said.
