2025 Bowl for Kids’ Sake: Rolling for a Magical Cause

ZANESVILLE, OH – Get ready to strike up some fun for a great cause!

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Zanesville is bringing a little magic to the lanes with this year’s Bowl for Kids’ Sake. This year’s theme, “Magic in Mentoring,” adds a fun and magical twist to the event, celebrating the power of positive role models in children’s lives.

“The theme is Magic in Mentoring. We feel like every connection with a child and a mentor is truly magical. The theme is up for whatever you feel that magic is. People might come dressed as Harry Potter, a wizard, or anything fun and Halloween-ish. We are definitely looking forward to getting people to sign up their teams,” BBBSZ President and CEO, Katie Lupsor said.

The event takes place April 16th, 17th, and 18th at the Sunrise Bowling Center in Zanesville. Teams of 4 to 6 bowlers are encouraged to register and take part in the fun. Teams can also participate in peer-to-peer fundraising by selling “Strike It Big” tickets to help raise even more money for live changing mentorship programs for local youth.

“We do peer-to-peer fundraising. We have a “Strike it Big” ticket. It’s a ticket that these teams sell to raise a little bit of money for youth mentoring programs. We always set a goal for the teams of 4 to 6 to raise $500. Which is I think a very obtainable goal if you have 4 to 6 people selling these Strike it Big tickets,” Lupsor said.

If you want to take part in the magic, register your team online or by calling the BBBSZ office at (740) 453-7300.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Zanesville is also looking for volunteers and sponsors for the event.
