Bucci-Dietz Artist Award now accepting applications
ZANESVILLE, OHIO-Â The Artist’s award is a monetary grant that is to be used by the award recipient to further his or her career.
Katie McCarty, Educational Assistant, Muskingum County Community Foundation (MCCF), said that the grant is worth $500 and could be used for art supplies, materials, seminars, conferences and other activities that may provide assistance to the artist.
Those interested in filling out an application need to fill out a form with a list of supplies that they normally use and the amount of awards they have won.
High School students are not eligible to apply for the award.
“They are really looking for a well-rounded artist who has done a lot of different things and even those up and coming artists that may be struggling a little bit to try to get started,” said McCarty.
Applications can be found at the MCCF and the ZAAP Gallery on Main Street in downtown Zanesville.
The deadline for applications is October 21st.
