ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Two Organizations have joined forces permanently to help provide the community with consistent services.

Six County Incorporated and Thompkins Treatment Incorporated held a press conference today October 18, 2016 at the Muskingum County Welcome Center to release their new name, Allwell Behavioral Health Services. Chief Operating Officer of Child Youth Family in Transition Services, Dan Carpenetti, says the two organizations were over lapping each other in business so Carpenetti and C.E.O. of 6 County James McDonald met to see how they could work together.

“Two year process with a consultant, retreats, studies looking at finances, [and] looking at program delivery,” said Carpenetti. “We determined that this would be a positive thing for us and for the community.”

President – Chief Executive Officer, James McDonald, says that Allwell will better help the community by giving access to care, quality to care, and lower cost of care.

“Formerly a child was seen in Thompkins then they would have to transfer to another provider [at] 6 County, Now the continuity of care will be seamless,” said McDonald. “They can see a councilor at the same organizations, keep that counselor and continue the care throughout their lifetime.”
